As part of the launch of the next generation Sealy PosturepedicÂ® line and the Whatever You Do In Bed, Sealy Supports Itâ„¢ marketing campaign, the free Sealy In Bed Tagger app encourages consumers to play Cupid and create humorous virtual love notes.
The app allows people to create their own photos by adapting real-world billboards, magazines and signs with the words “In Bed” at the end. After snapping a photo of their choice, the “In Bed” watermark appears, adding a dose of humor to the photo. Consumers can then upload and share the photos with family and friends via social networks.
“We wanted to engage with consumers in a completely different way that allows them to demonstrate their own creativity while driving awareness for the Posturepedic brand,” said Jodi Allen, Chief Marketing Officer at Sealy. “This is definitely first-of-its-kind in the mattress category.”
The new app fits into Sealy’s efforts to be the industry leader in the mattress category and have a greater focus on digital and social media to reflect today’s consumer. Available now on iTunes, the Sealy In Bed Tagger app is compatible with iPhoneÂ® and iPod TouchÂ®.
The Sealy In Bed Tagger app will also launch for Androidâ„¢ mobile digital devices during Valentine’s Day week on February 15.*
