The suspension was for election fraud lies and being drunk on election night while working for Donald Trump (which he denies).

He also tried to get a man jailed for tapping him on the back and shaving in the middle of an airport restaurant. 

It wasn’t a surprise to learn that he supposedly owes one of his ex-wives $250,000 and will go to jail if he doesn’t pay it. Well, is he married?

Is Rudy Giuliani Married?

No, Rudy Giuliani is not married. People say that Giuliani is dating the woman with whom he reportedly cheated on his third wife, even though he is not married at the moment.

Giuliani went to a dinner at the White House with Dr. Maria Ryan. Ryan was named in court documents that Giuliani’s ex-wife made when she divorced him. 

Giuliani said in court that he and Ryan were only “friends,” but others say that they were having an affair while he was married.

After working for the government, Rudy Giuliani had a successful private job that made him a multimillionaire. 

But the former mayor of New York went bankrupt in December 2023 after being ordered to pay $148 million in fines for slander by two election workers in Georgia. 

He had to pay $148 million to two former Georgia poll workers. He wrongly accused them of fraud while they were working to overturn Trump’s 2020 loss in the presidential election.

The former mayor of New York filed for bankruptcy to protect himself from creditors. In the document, he listed his assets as low as $1 million and liabilities as high as $500 million.

The most money he owes is $148 million to Ruby Freeman and her daughter Wandrea “Shaye” Moss. The amount was ordered by a federal jury in Washington, DC, on December 15 for making false claims about their role in the 2020 election fraud.

In the Chapter 11 bankruptcy case, he filed with a New York bankruptcy court, he also said he owed hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars. This included the IRS, the New York tax officials, and his former lawyers and accountants.

A jury of eight gave Freeman and Moss more than $16 million each for slander, $20 million each for distress, and $75 million for damages.

Before the election, Giuliani was in charge of Trump’s legal attempts to overturn the results. He posted a video of the couple in which he falsely accused them of ballot-counting fraud and other unfair accusations.

The defamation case is just one of many legal problems Giuliani is facing. He is also being charged with racketeering in Georgia, along with Trump and others, for supposedly trying to change the results of the state’s 2020 election.

From 1994 to 2001, Giuliani was mayor of New York. He led the city through the shock of the September 11 attacks and became known as “America’s Mayor.” While Trump was in the White House, he became his lawyer.

First and Second Wife

Regina Peruggi was Giuliani’s first wife. At the time, she worked as a counselor for drug addicts in a New York state jail. The couple broke up in 1982 after finding out they were second cousins.

The mayor told Ms. Hanover that he wanted to get a divorce. She was shocked and said the issues started years ago when the mayor dated a staff member.

At an unexpected and emotional news appearance in Bryant Park, Mr. Giuliani also said he would turn to his perfect friend, Judith Nathan. He said he needed her “more now than maybe I did before” as he fights prostate cancer.

Mr. Giuliani didn’t say if he would keep running for the Senate against Hillary Rodham Clinton, but he did say that politics wasn’t his primary goal. 

Later, rumors about other candidates spread through the city, adding to the Republican belief that Mr. Giuliani would drop out.

Rudolph W. Giuliani’s marriage to TV personality and actress Donna Hanover ended in a settlement that will give Ms. Hanover $6.8 million tax-free. The split came after 18 months.

The settlement terms were not made public, but Ms. Hanover’s lawyer, Helene Brezinsky, said the 52-year-old woman would be repaid for all her legal fees. 

She also got child support for their two kids, Andrew and Caroline. She also got the Upper East Side house she shared with Mr. Giuliani.

During his second term, Mr. Giuliani had to deal with a terrible event that made Ms. Hanover accuse him of cheating. She stayed at Gracie Mansion while he moved out and went to live with a friend.

“I’m glad we were able to come to this agreement on all of these different points and spare everyone any more embarrassment or whatever,” Mr. Giuliani said in a jumpy speech.

“Good luck to Donna in the future. That’s because, well, we do have two kids. I want everyone to have the best time possible. I’m not going to talk about the words.

I’ve done everything possible to keep my private life a secret.” Mr. Giuliani laughed out loud. He said, “I haven’t always been successful, but I tried.”

The Third Wife, Judith

Judith filed for divorce in April 2018 after being married for 15 years. The pair had a very heated argument over how to divide their assets.

Judith’s old lawyer said Rudy worked for Trump for free to cut down on his income and, by extension, the amount of alimony he had to pay his ex. 

He said he took “his TV remote controls and cable box so he couldn’t watch himself on TV,” according to Page Six. Judith also said Rudy stole her Christmas ornaments. 

The former mayor said he did not take the decorations or work for Trump for free to lower his divorce payments. 

The third time’s a charm, but not for Mr. Mayor, as his first marriage was to his cousin. After that, he was married for 18 years to Donna Hanover, the mother of his two children.

Judith Giuliani has sued him and said in a signed statement that he owes her $140,000 for their Palm Beach home, $70,000 in country club fees, and $45,000 for housekeeping services.

In the other case, Judith told the judge that Rudy “has made inconsistent and sporadic payments to me, including a $10,000 check in June 2021 that was returned due to insufficient funds.”

Page Six says she asked him to pay her “immediately” and with interest, and he has the money, even though he must have recently had a financial loss. 

“He owns multiple properties in New York City and Palm Beach [and it seems] he has significant earnings from his media-related contracts and deals,” she said.

If Rudy doesn’t pay, his ex-girlfriend’s lawyers say he should be jailed for contempt of court for not making the payments.

“Your failure to appear in court may result in your immediate arrest or imprisonment for contempt of court,” the document said, as Page Six reported.

Rudi Giuliani Escapes Jail Time

Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York City, broke a court order and got out of jail. He is still fighting with his third wife, Judith Giuliani, over money he owes her as part of a three-year divorce deal.

Giuliani said in a short court appearance that he is progressing toward paying back the debt. He and Judith still can’t agree on how much he pays for things like her health care and memberships to country clubs.

Judge Michael Katz took away the contempt order he gave Giuliani in September when he missed a court date. Judith Giuliani said the former mayor owed her more than $260,000 at the time.

She claimed her ex-husband, who was once America’s Mayor for his leadership after 9/11, is still hundreds of thousands of dollars behind on payments. Her lawyers would take him back to court if he didn’t pay up. 

In the end, Judith Giuliani said, “Rudy is the same as he always is. He learned to avoid the system, as we see in every other case he’s done.”

Judith Giuliani said she agreed to the deal in 2019 instead of following a judge’s order to pay $40,000 a month in child support as a favor to Giuliani. 

He pitied his husband as he was already having difficulty paying his bills because of an investigation into his work in Ukraine.

A few weeks later, Juliani got one last threat from the sheriff: he was “on notice to come at a moment’s notice” to jail him if he didn’t pay.
