  4. Pay for the items using your Credit or Debit card, and wait for a confirmation email. You’ll also receive a notification on when to pick up the order. 
  5. You can select the option “I am on the way” to give Target a heads up that you’re on your way to their location to receive the items. 
  6. A Target Drive Up employee will show up in the parking lot with your ordered items. Just show the digit code on your App for confirmation, and they will car-load the items for you.

Is Target Drive-Up Service More Expensive?

No, there is nothing pricey about it. The Target Drive Up is a free curbside pickup service. Once you place an order, Target will assign an employee to bring the items to the parking lot for you and car-load them. 

You don’t have to pay the Target employee nor pay any extra charges to Target. You’ll only be paying for the items and taxes associated with the purchase. 

Again, the price of items displayed on the Target App is the same price you’ll find in the store. The price of items won’t change because you’re using Drive Up. 

A Handy Tip: Target Drive Up doesn’t have an order minimum. You can use Drive Up for any item you buy. 

Is Target Drive Up Available For Frozen Foods?

Yes, Target Drive Up for groceries is available. In 2020, the company announced that it had expanded Drive Up to include fresh and frozen foods, including non-perishable groceries.
