If you realize that bananas cause chest pains or give you heartburn, you should give them up. Most people find this problematic because bananas are sweet and add nutritional value. Are you stuck in such a situation? There might be a solution. 

You can start by reducing the number of bananas you eat. If this does not solve the problem, you can choose to blend your bananas with other fruits; making smoothies might help if you use foods that are not acidic. 

Doctors advise that you stop eating bananas if you are allergic or cause heartburn. This can lead to other health complications.

2. Carbonated drinks:

Sodas and bottled drinks lead to an increment of acidity of the stomach acid. A study showed that a higher percentage of people who consume carbonated drinks and sodas are prone to heartburn.

3. Ginger:

This is the best to help with stomach and gastrointestinal problems. Gingerol smoothens the movement of foods through the GI tract. Better digestion means that less gastric juice will be produced, preventing heartburn. 

You need to note that bodies are different. If a food causes heartburn or chest pain to your colleague, it does not mean that you too will be affected. You should not be afraid of trying new foods. You should only avoid something after you ascertain that it causes you harm.

You should be careful when it comes to the foods you eat. Some foods are poisonous, others are highly acidic, while others lead to the accumulation of gases in our stomachs.
