A meme by Ethan Abrenica caught the attention of many after Ye posted it on his Instagram page. People have reacted differently to the meme; some believe that he uses the meme to get back at his ex-wife, while others believe that what he is doing is right.
Since Ye and Kim Kardashian ended their marriage, the two have had scuffles. Memes attacking Kim have also been trending after Ye dropped his documentary “Jeen-Yuhs,” which premiered on Netflix on February 16.
He has shown desires to reunite with Kardashian west and his kids. However, he has been posting memes and screenshots of text messages from his ex-wife. One of the screenshots he posted was a message from Kardashian west asking him to stop posting their private texts.
Although you deleted the screenshots, people are still posting them. According to Stephen Crockett, an editor at Huffington Post, Ye’s actions are inappropriate. In his statement, “all the toxicity, the triggering, the gaslighting and the attention — from the media and fans — is normalizing poisonous and unhealthy behavior.”
He was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, but he refused to take any medication despite this. He also stopped seeking counseling services from a therapist because he believes he is okay. In his recent track, he says, “No more counselin,’ I don’t negotiate with therapists.”
Some celebrities argue that people shouldn’t view Ye’s behavior as entertainment“even famous people, when clearly going through something with their mental health should be off limits when it comes to internet lols.” Wrote Jameela Jamil on Instagram.
“We are watching a mentally ill man coaxed over the edge by our engagement/media attention,” an Actor wrote. “The consequences of this getting worse/messier will be him losing access to his kids.”
Most people are against Ye’s actions and behavior, including some of his fans. Abrenica, who says that Ye is his idol, also believes that Ye’s conduct isn’t appropriate.
