On Sunday, five people were found dead in Wisconsin, which the police believe was a homicide.
According to a medical officer, another body was found near the scene on Monday morning. On Sunday, the police officers responded to a welfare check at home at about 3.45 pm only o find the five bodies at the scene.
“There are five male victims and one female victim, making a total of six victims,” said the medical officer.
The police are currently investigating the crime. However, the police are yet to establish the motive or people responsible.
The Director of the Office of Violence apologized to people and said it was a ridiculous crime. “The community is tired,” she added.
Although no suspect has been arrested following the crime, the police have assured the community members to remain calm. They hope that individuals with leads about the crime will come forward.
Cavalier Johnson, Acting Milwaukee Mayor, also responded by condemning the act and offered condolences to the people who lost their loved ones. According to him, when people work together with law enforcers, such crimes will stop.
The crime left the community in disbelief and shock. Most people fear for their safety. Milwaukee’s violence prevention office showed their concern by supporting and calming the community.
The bodies will be autopsied today. It will help the officers to determine the cause of the deaths, which will be a big lead in the case.
According to the county Sherriff, the source causes of vicious crime need to be addressed. The crime should remind people that a lot has to be done to eliminate such acts in the community.
